Hello!

Welcome to Grandview Elementary’s Second Grade.  This is an exciting year for students with many plans and expectations. Students will have a wide range of learning great social skills working together.  In academics we focus on refining our reading skills and becoming amazing writers, and grammar goals!  These second graders will become masters at addition and subtraction with so many strategies to solve any problem.  They will learn about money and how to tell time, along with geometry.  Students will learn about technology with STEM activities offered throughout the year.  They will become scientists learning about the earth and the world around them.  This is a great year of growth and hope that you will enjoy the adventure with us.
